Triumph Group designs, engineers, manufactures, repairs and overhauls aircraft components and accessories. With $1.3 billion dollars (US) in sales and 53 locations across the United States and Europe, Triumph came to The Everest Group in need of low cost manufacturing strategies. Triumph leveraged The Everest Group's unique capabilities to conduct feasibility studies, address site selection, pursue government incentives and deploy the necessary turnkey startup and shelter services to kick start an offshoring project in Mexico.

Based on the strategic business opportunity for Triumph Group and the potential to replicate such success with like-minded organizations, the State of Zacatecas also engaged in the project to help fund a dedicated Aerospace Park. Under the guidance of The Everest Group, Triumph Group became the development's anchor tenant. The Everest Group's Architecture and Engineering department was also awarded the design and construction management of the park infrastructure, ensuring both Triumph Group and future clients could benefit from the company's unique understanding of market needs.

In addition to the Aerospace Park at Zacatecas International Airport, Mexico, a dedicated Public Aerospace Trades School was also founded to provide highly skilled workers and technicians that Triumph Group and the aerospace community would require. In just two short years the Public Aerospace Trades School has trained nearly100 individuals.

"It was our vision that Zacatecas develop a reputation for aerospace manufacturing excellence in the region. Our commitment to addressing each of our customer's specific needs and turning market opportunity into reality has built a foundation of success for clients such as Triumph Group," said Patrick Rider, President of The Everest Group. "As the competitive global market continues to squeeze margins for manufacturers, more and more organizations will seek out relocation options in Mexico. Our comprehensive services, hands-on approach and understanding of local market intricacies provides organizations with the solid foundation they need to start their Mexican operations and demonstrate shareholder value."
